Description
The Phrygian helmet takes from the homonymous cap, traditional of Thrace and Phrygia, and became the helmet most used by the Macedonian armies, consequently it was very widespread throughout the Hellenistic world, from the East to the Western Central Mediterranean. Several variations spread in southern Italy and Etruria. 4th-2nd century B.C. Brass.
