Late Medieval Boots With Buckles

A pair of boots made in a late medieval style from light brown cowhide. Boots like these were found during excavations, eg. in Constance. The shaft above the buckles can be worn upwards or cuffed down. The straps are all fitted with contemporary buckles and the middle strap wraps around the ankle, providing a firm hold. The sole and the flat heel are attached by nails and are very stable. With regular care, these boots will stay intact for a long period.
As the boots can be narrow fitting it is advised to order a size larger than you normally wear
