Description
Greek helmet called Illyrian, because many findings come from that area, as typology was born in the seventh century, then it spreads between the sixth and fifth century also coming to Italy, where it is attested, for example, in the Etruscan context. The famous bronzes of warriors from Brolio reproduce it with a pivotal appendix that in reality is not pertinent to the representation of the helmet, but constituted an assembly system for a more complex bronze composition.
