Byzantine helmet Reproduction of the spangenhelm from Sinj, Croatia. Dated to the 6th century, it is believed to be byzantine production. It could have been built in the Ravenna area, or in the eastern area of the Byzantine Empire, according to the hypotheses proposed by two different scholars (Vinski and Vogt).
