Description
The Chalkidian helmet is an evolution of the Corinthian helmet, of which it maintains its general shape, but with hinged and movable cheek-pieces rather than one-piece with the bowl. Widespread among Greek, Etruscan and Italic people. This reproduction is based on the original helmet known as “helmet from Todi” , now at the National Etruscan Museum of Villa Giulia; Rome.
